Chris House BVetMed MRCVS

Chris qualified at the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1978. His professional interests include all aspects or equine medicine and surgery with particular interest and experience in stud medicine, infertility and artificial insemination. He has been President of The British Equine Veterinary Association and is a member of theEquine Insurance Veterinary Advisors Group.


Jane Jackson BVetMed MRCVS

Jane qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1979. She is a regular broadcaster on veterinary matters on Radio Essex. Her particular interests are skin disease and medical conditions.

Erik Belloy. DVM MRCVS

Born in Belgium, Erik qualified at Ghent Veterinary School. He is a regular contributor of veterinary articles to Essex Rider and a UK dressage team veterinarian. Erik's main interests are orthopaedics, back problems and support guidance for competition horses.


Luisa Smith BVMS PhD CertES(Soft Tissue) DipECVS MRCVS

Luisa graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2000. Since then she has spent her time in specialist equine practice in North America and the UK, before completing a surgical residency. She holds an RCVS Certficate in Equine Surgery and a Diploma from the European College of Veterinary Surgeons. Her special interests are abdominal and keyhole surgery. Luisa joined the partnership at House and Jackson in September 2011 and has allowed us to expand our surgical services.


Jessica Spanton BVetMed CertAVP EM MRCVS

Jess graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2005. She completed an internship at a specialist equine hospital in Kent and an externship at an equine hospital in Australia. Jess joined the practice in 2007 and has used her experience from a neonatal intensive care unit in Austrailia to develop and run our own neonatal unit. She holds an RCVS certificate in equine internal medicine and has a specialist interest in equine anaesthesia, stud and internal medicine.


Nina Grimstead BVMS MRCVS

Nina returned to House and Jackson after a period with The Royal Veterinary College as a senior clinical training scholar. Whilst previously with us she was well like by both staff and clients alike, we welcome her back. She has a wealth of both small animal and equine experience.

 


Elizabeth Douglas BVetMed MRCVS

Zizia (Elizabeth) qualified in 2009 from The Royal Veterinary College. She started with us as a House Vet and is now an Associate Veterinary Surgeon. Her particular interests are surgery and anaesthesia for both small animals and horses.
