WE PROVIDE OUR OWN EMERGENCY SERVICE
Many practices, these days, have opted out of providing an out-of-hours emergency service. We have not.
WE ENSURE THAT YOU CAN SPEAK TO A VET RELIABLY AND QUICKLY
We do not rely on mobile phones for our clients to be able to contact our vets. We use a RadioPager service because we find this is the best way to ensure your message gets to one of our vets. If the vet is busy, you can contact the Duty Nurse who can then ensure that the best plan is put in place for your animal.
WE HAVE THE STAFF
At all times we have 6 members of staff on Duty: 3 vets and 3 nursing team members. This means we can handle almost every kind of emergency case. We are able to call on the services of our principle equine surgeon and partner, Luisa Smith, to handle complex orthopaedic and colic cases.
WE HAVE THE FACILITIES
We have X-ray, ultrasound and laboratory facilities available at all times so that we can asses your animal's problem accurately and move quickly to recommend a plan of action.
WE HAVE THE INFORMATION
You are our client. We know you and we have the records for your animal. This means we can offer you the best treatment that suits the needs of you and your animal.
